Shoreline Sites - How far are the sites from the lake and parking?
Shoreline sites are located along the lake and provide tent camping. Some sites feature a small trail leading to the water, with the shoreline located approximately 25 feet from the tent. The distance from the parking area to the campsite ranges from 100 to 500 feet, with dirt trails in the SB section and paved trails in the SC section. Some site loops are hilly, while others are relatively flat—please note that the terrain is more hilly than flat. See below on more info regarding getting your gear to your site.
Pack In - Pack Out *Cleaning/Disposal Fee* Help Keep us clean!
If you pack it in, please pack it out. Please dispose of normal trash in the trash receptacbles.
If your site is not left how you received it, you will be charged a cleaning fee mininum $25 and up to $75 for large items left behind. We cannot support extra trash left behind such as air mats, broken chairs, tents, old camp stoves, broken shade structures. These items have to be brought to the dump. Dumping is not included in your camping fee.
Confetti is not allowed. Please do not blow up sites with confetti. This will be cause for an cleaning charge. However confeffi is very difficult to clean up and it blows into the brush and into other sites, so please refrain from brining it.
Clean up after your dogs, please do not put dog food on the ground; use dishes. The dog food left behind on the ground attracks other unwanted animals into the campsites. If this mess is left behind you will be charged a cleaning fee.
This includes the Fire Pits. Please do not use Fire Pits as trash cans. This extra cleaning will result in a cleaning fee.
All Cleaning fees will be charged to the credit card on account.

Each site can accommodate up to two small to medium-sized tents, or one large tent. A maximum of 2 tents and 6 people are allowed per site. If your group exceeds this limit, you will be asked to secure an additional site (if available) or reduce the number of tents and occupants in your site to continue your stay.
Sun and Shade - Stay Cool
Some sites may lack shade; we recommend bringing a shade structure or pop-up tent.
How will I get my camping gear to my site? Exercise here I come!
We highly suggest bringing a tote or wagon to help transport your camping gear to your site, as all sites are walk-in only. (Please note that due to theft, we have limited availability of totes). Because of the terrain not being flt, its a good workout.
Totes
If you use one of our limited availability totes to transport your gear, please return it immediately after use so others can benefit from it. Totes should not be kept at your campsite or used at the beach.
Pets - Fur pets, we love them! Campground Store has a small selection of pet supplies.
We love pets! However, pets must be kept on a leash at all times. While pets are welcome at Whiskeytown National Park, please be aware that dogs are not allowed at Oak Bottom Beach. Generators - All is bright all is cool......
We love lights at night and a little Air conditioning, however generators are a disturbance to neightboring campers. Lights can also be a distraction, so please keep them at a minimun not to disturb other campers. If you plan to bring a generator, it must not disturb neighboring campers and must operate at a maximum of 60 decibels. Generators are permitted until 8 PM.
